Providing for Educational Center

The Northwest Indiana Educational Service Center (NWIESC) strives to be a leader to promote cooperative activities across Northwest Indiana through professional development, media services, cooperative purchasing, and advanced technological resources.

To achieve this, the NWIESC is responsible for coordinating educational opportunities and professional development workshops for its 35 member schools. The NWIESC holds approximately 100 workshops during the academic year for 3,000+ educators.

Coordinating these workshops requires a multi-function color device that is reliable, quick, and outputs high quality. McShane's implemented a Konica Minolta bizhub C550 color machine that the NWIESC utilizes daily.

"We use this equipment for faxing, copying, scanning, and printing. It runs all day long, every day. If we ever have an issue, McShane's comes right away, whether its maintenance or to replace a part," Joann Powers, Professional Development Program Coordinator Assistant, explains.
