The Story of Dockside Services

Dockside Services, Inc. was established in Indiana in 1999 and began working with McShane's earlier this year. When McShane's Account Representative Bob Barsic visited Dockside in Merrillville, the location had one main machine and several desktop printers. He immediately recognized the need for new equipment with speed and ease-of-use for the rapidly growing office.

McShane's recommended the new Muratec MFX-2850 multi-function device with a low cost of operation and the ability for every computer in the office to be networked for scanning, printing, and faxing.

Now, instead of each desktop computer having its own printer, every person in the office can print to the one device, saving Dockside time and greatly reducing monthly costs.

"We didn't even think to have just one piece of equipment in our office," Donna Southard, Regional Director of Dockside, said. "But now I can see how economical this solution is. It saves us so much time and money."

Federal Labor Law Poster

The new Fair Minimum Wage Act will increase the Federal Minimum Wage by $2.10 to $7.25 an hour over the next two years. The first phase of the increase took effect 07/24/07 when the Federal Minimum Wage became $5.85 an hour. The last increase was in 1997.

Federal law requires ALL U.S. employers covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) to post the new Minimum Wage. Do you have an updated Federal Labor Law poster?
